Most people meet EIFS under the wrong name. They hear synthetic stucco and picture a cement wall. It is neither.

What an EIFS job covers
A bid off your drawings
We price the exterior from the plans, before framing. The number is set early, and it holds.
A look at the wall that is there
On a repair or a tenant job we open up and check first. What we find sets the scope. A guess from the parking lot does not.
Base coat with the mesh worked in
Mesh gets embedded in the base coat so stress spreads out across the wall. No single spot takes the whole load.
The finish coat in your spec color
The acrylic finish goes on in the color and texture the plans call for. Color is mixed in, not painted on top.
Scaffolding, schedule and cleanup
We size the crew to your deadline, run proper scaffolding, and strike the site clean when the wall is done.
Why the name gets it wrong
Search synthetic stucco and you land on EIFS. The two names got glued together years ago and they stuck.
They are not one thing. Stucco is cement. It is mixed on site and troweled on in three coats. EIFS is a manufactured system, and we run it on commercial buildings.
It does not insulate the building either. If a bid sells you the finish coat as a lower power bill, ask what that number is based on.
