Where we work in Scottsdale
Scottsdale Airpark
One of the biggest employment areas in the state, and a lot of it is low, wide buildings with long street-facing walls. Those elevations sit in open sun with nothing shading them.
Old Town and downtown
Retail, restaurants and hotels packed tight, most of them trading seven days a week. Work here gets staged around doors that never close.
The Scottsdale Road corridor
Kierland, the Quarter and the offices strung along the road north of the 101. Tall, detailed elevations where access costs more than material.
SkySong and the McDowell corridor
Office and mixed-use on the south end of the city. Newer walls, which means the sealant joints are what we look at first.
The wall is your first showing
A west-facing Scottsdale wall takes full afternoon sun with nothing in the way. Ten years of that moves the color. It does not move it evenly.
Then a repair lands in the middle of it. Fresh material in the original color reads as a bright square from across the lot, and now the building looks patched instead of maintained.
We plan around that. Repairs get carried out to a control joint, a corner or a change of plane, so the eye reads a line it expects instead of a patch.
When the damage is spread out, we say so and re-coat the whole elevation. One even face is worth more to you than six invisible repairs that are not actually invisible.
